The new
DYSS TUBOY series of UV screen printing presses feature a
heavy-duty mechanical rotary indexing table and it is
equipped with 1 to 4 servo driven printing heads.
The squeegee & flood stroke lengths & speed
settings are both controlled via AC servo.
The TUBOY series of UV rotary indexing screen
printing machines are specifically designed for UV screen
printing on plastic cosmetic tubes.
The systems rugged and solidly built machine frame is
constructed from heavy-duty welded tubular steel which
provides vibration free performance and accurate color
registration.
The
TUBOY provides
high speed production with up to 60 screen printed
tubes per minute (3,600 per hour).
Cosmetic tubes are placed onto the angled in-feed ramp
(fully automatic feeding is also available) and they are
automatically pushed onto the vacuum mandrels and then
held firmly throughout the entire printing and curing
cycle.
Once loaded the screen printed tubes are first pre-cleaned
with an integrated deionizing/ cleaning station to remove
any dust or contaminants from the tubes surface.
Furthermore we can also provide an option corona or flame
treating station for your specific needs.
The TUBOY UV screen printing system also features a
"no-part-no-print" sensor which prevents the squeegee from
engaging if no tube is present on the mandrel.
There is also an optical eye system and stepper motor
re-register system available for aligning multi-color
artworks, so you can actually run a 4 color screen print
job on a two color printer. After each printing station
there is an in-line UV curing station where the cosmetic
tubes are mechanically gear indexed and rotated beneath
the UV lamp for full curing of the UV inks.
TIGHT COLOR REGISTRATION
The
accurate colour to colour registration of the TUBOY
(accurate to within ±0.1mm) is ensured by use of a
precision mechanical cam driven indexing drive system and
servo-motor controls for the screen print heads.
SHORT SET-UP TIMES
A
state-of-the-art programmable logic controller keeps a
handle on all of the TUBOY's functions. The touch screen
controls are mounted on a pedestal base which provides the
user an easily understandable interface.
All job related parameters can be quickly recalled from
the systems memory, which significantly reducing your
set-up times.
All mechanical adjustments are positioned within easy
reach of the operator and when making tooling changes (ie:
changing tube diameters) you must only exchange 8 mandrels
and 1 gear for each print station & UV station.
HIGH UP-TIME
The
use of high quality components and lifetime sealed
bearings keeps the time required for routine maintenance
to a minimum. The rugged design of the TUBOY machinery
greatly reduces the system down time and remote
diagnostics (via modem) is available upon request.
