GRAPHOLIGHT
GL20 with Z axis controlled by software |
| ¡¡ |
The GraphoLight GL20
represents the new market reference in diode pumped Nd: YAG lasers for the
high quality marking results at an affordable price.
The GraphoLight GL20
is not only suitable for marking standard metals, but even the more
difficult ones such as copper, gold and silver and many commercial plastic
materials, providing chromatic toning for easier reading.
Due to the high maximum power density of 20 Megawatt/ mm©÷, the GL20
laser works like well sharpened
tools with a very thin line. The laser is capable of marking at extraordinary
fast indenting
speeds of 1000 characters per second, depending on the materials.
The ¡°end
pumping¡± technique, where the marking head is integrated with the
resonator, has been separated from the laser pumping module by means of an
optical fibre, which has given the advantage of creating groups according to the
different powers.
The result is a very compact and light unit and particularly suitable
for on-line applications.
The GraphoLight
lasers are equipped with a complete and intuitive software including a graphic
editor to create symbols and simple logos.
It is possible to import files from
CAD in various formats such as PLT, DXF, BMP and JPG.
The software can also be used
to create Bar Codes and 2D DataMatrix.
External
communication is obtained through the Serial Line RS 232.
All our
GraphoLight models with power up to 80 Megawatt/ mm©÷, are exploiting the technique of
¡°single-mode¡±
laser beam that coupled with the manufacturing architecture type ¡°end
pumping¡±, is allowing a definitely better performance not only in
comparison with the traditional lamp systems but also with the most updated
diode pumped with ¡°multi-mode ¡° beam.
For immediate perception of how higher is the performance of the single-mode
laser beam than the multi-mode¡¯s, the graph below shows higher and more
concentrated peak values in the single mode beam, and consequently higher Power
Density (Megawatt/mm©÷). |

| THESE
ARE THE MAIN ADVANTAGES OF THE GRAPHOLIGHT LASERS: |
| ¡¡ |
¡¤
High
marking precision due to the excellent quality of the beam (resolution).
¡¤
Wide range
of material that can be marked: the standard metals but the more
difficult too such as gold, silver, copper
and aluminium as well as
most of the commercial plastic materials, providing chromatic toning for
easier reading.
¡¤
Low power
consumption.
¡¤
Thermo-electric
cooling system (Peltier effect). The simple internal air cooling is
quite sufficient and thus the expensive
and unpractical use of water
chillers is avoided.

¡¤
The unit
is prepared to control a third axis.
¡¤
Standard
Voltage: 90 - 230 V single phase.
¡¤
The long
life of the diode is practically assuring operational running at no
maintenance.
¡¤
Low working costs.
¡¤
Small dimensions and easy integration into pre-existing production
lines.
¡¤
Easy to be
installed and operated (plug and play) due to the powerful but very simple and intuitive software. |
